In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales efforts within large corporate accounts. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their business operations. You will act as a strategic partner, guiding clients through their digital transformation journey with HubSpot's platform. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying client challenges and positioning our solutions as the optimal business outcome. You will leverage data and insights to influence stakeholder decisions and build long-term executive relationships. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to manage complex sales cycles and navigate enterprise-level decision-making processes. You will be expected to champion HubSpot's value proposition to the highest levels of the organization. This is an opportunity to own the end-to-end sales process from initial discovery to final contract signing.

What you'll do
- Spearhead the identification and cultivation of new enterprise-level opportunities within the Japanese market.
- Architect and execute strategic account plans for key corporate clients to ensure alignment with HubSpot's growth objectives.
- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to uncover critical business pain points and translate them into actionable solution frameworks.
- Present sophisticated value propositions to executive stakeholders, demonstrating clear return on investment for HubSpot deployments.
- Negotiate complex contract terms and service level agreements to secure mutually beneficial partnership arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation for new corporate customers.
- Analyze competitive landscape data to refine positioning strategies and counter competitive challenges effectively.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions, decision-making processes, and business requirements.
- Monitor pipeline health and forecast future revenue streams with precision to support organizational planning initiatives.
- Mentor junior sales representatives by sharing best practices and successful methodologies from your enterprise sales experience.
- Establish thought leadership within target industries through participation in relevant market discussions and solution validation.
- Drive adoption of HubSpot's platform features through targeted training sessions and value realization workshops.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing client portfolios to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical client issues, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct sales, preferably within the technology sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent sales opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience conducting high-level executive conversations with C-suite decision makers.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles involving lengthy consideration and validation phases.
- Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and industry events as required by role demands.
