About the role
The ISC role represents the entry point into HubSpot's downmarket sales organization in LATAM, designed for individuals motivated to build a long-term career in sales. You will own the full initial engagement with prospective customers, acting as the first human interaction in the sales process by answering questions and guiding prospects toward relevant next steps. This position focuses on developing foundational sales competencies, including having customer conversations, qualifying needs, and creating pipeline that feeds the broader revenue engine. You will operate at the intersection of customer service and sales, ensuring prospects understand how HubSpot can support their specific growth objectives. The role includes a structured development path with a clear transition into the Sales Development Representative (SDR) role as performance and business needs allow. Success in this position is defined by your ability to handle high-volume interactions while maintaining quality and converting interest into booked meetings. This is a critical role for scaling inbound demand and feeding a predictable sales pipeline for the organization.

What you'll do
Manage a high volume of inbound inquiries from prospects across chat, phone, and web channels while maintaining consistent quality.
Engage prospects to understand their goals, business challenges, and questions while guiding them toward the most relevant next steps for HubSpot adoption.
Identify, prioritize, and route qualified sales opportunities to Account Executives to ensure efficient pipeline flow and follow-up.
Operate consistently in a fast-paced, high-activity environment while maintaining quality across every interaction and documenting details accurately.
Achieve booked meetings and meetings-to-deal conversion metrics, based on regional targets and performance expectations.
Use active listening and probing techniques to uncover underlying needs and align solutions with the prospect's strategic objectives.
Leverage HubSpot tools and resources to provide accurate product information and support throughout the initial customer journey.
Demonstrate ownership by taking responsibility for the full scope of each interaction and following through on commitments to prospects.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to escalate complex questions and ensure timely resolution for high-priority inquiries.
Apply feedback from coaching sessions to refine communication style, improve conversion rates, and enhance overall performance.
Requirements
Fluency in English and Portuguese is required to effectively communicate with prospects and represent HubSpot professionally.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage prospects, guide conversations, and quickly build rapport are essential for success.
A clear motivation to start and grow a career in sales, with the goal of progressing into an SDR role and taking on increased responsibility over time.
Curiosity and a problem-solving mindset when understanding customer needs and business challenges to identify the best solutions.
Comfort managing a high volume of daily interactions while staying organized and consistent across multiple channels.

Familiarity with CRM software or SaaS products to quickly adapt to HubSpot's platform and tools.
Additional language proficiency relevant to the hiring region to support a broader range of prospects and interactions.
Practical notes
This role follows Monday through Friday scheduling, with working hours that may shift depending on market coverage requirements and business demand. The position may involve participation in training sessions, coaching meetings, and performance reviews as part of the structured development path. Travel is not expected as part of the standard engagement for this role. Individuals must be eligible to work in Colombia and comply with all local employment regulations. The role is designed for entry-level success, and prior sales experience is not required provided the candidate demonstrates the necessary qualifications and coachability.
