HomeLight is actively seeking a driven Account Executive to spearhead the expansion of our title and escrow business operations throughout the Greater Houston metropolitan region. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of real estate professionals, ensuring our services become integral to their transaction workflows. The successful candidate will exhibit a proactive and consultative approach to sales, focusing on building long-term trust and reliability with partners. You will be responsible for quantifying the value of our solutions and translating complex closing processes into clear, understandable benefits for third-party providers. This position demands a high level of ownership over client relationships and the outcomes they generate for your book of business. You will play a critical role in establishing HomeLight as a preferred brand within the competitive Houston housing ecosystem. Your daily efforts will directly correlate with the company's market penetration and revenue growth in this specific geographic territory.

What you'll do
- Manage and cultivate a portfolio of real estate brokerages and agents to secure and increase escrow order volume within your assigned territory.
- Prospect for new business opportunities by engaging with key decision-makers at local brokerages and lender networks to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Create and execute a strategic territory plan that ensures thorough market penetration and comprehensive coverage of target accounts.
- Articulate the features and benefits of our title, escrow, and closing service offerings to potential clients based on their specific operational needs and pain points.
- Represent HomeLight at industry conferences, open houses, and local networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
- Design and conduct training sessions and presentations for partners to ensure they are proficient in utilizing our platform and services effectively.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including underwriting and operations, to resolve issues and maintain exceptional service standards for all clients.
- Partner with marketing teams to develop and implement local campaigns that boost brand awareness and recognition within the Houston market.
- Track and analyze local market trends, competitor movements, and customer feedback to identify emerging opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Own the end-to-end client lifecycle, from initial contact through onboarding and ongoing relationship management to ensure retention and expansion.
- Utilize data and insights to forecast sales targets and report on performance metrics to guide strategic adjustments in your territory.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on title and escrow processes, providing valuable counsel to partners looking to optimize their transaction efficiency.
Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or relationship management roles.
- Background in the mortgage, real estate, title, or escrow industries is strongly preferred for this position.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding established sales quotas and performance targets consistently.
- Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing a defined sales territory and prioritizing multiple opportunities.
- Exceptional skills in verbal communication, persuasive presentation, and the ability to build genuine interpersonal relationships.
- High level of professionalism and meticulousness regarding contract management, documentation, and compliance procedures.
- Must be a current resident of the Greater Houston area with an in-depth understanding of the local community dynamics.
- Willingness to adhere to the company code of conduct and uphold the integrity of the HomeLight brand in all professional interactions.
- Capability to lift and transport moderately heavy materials, such as literature or display items, during in-person events as required.
- Access to reliable transportation is necessary to conduct face-to-face meetings across the Houston metropolitan area.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements at this time.
