The advisor works closely with the HomeLight team to deliver personalized service while using the company's platform and resources.

What you'll do
- Guide clients through every stage of the home buying and selling process with clear, timely communication and honest advice.
- Build and maintain a strong network of local contacts including lenders, home inspectors, title professionals, and contractors in the Scottsdale area.
- Analyze current market conditions and comparable property data to help clients set competitive and realistic listing prices for their homes.
- Prepare and present property listings, professional marketing materials, and open house events designed to attract qualified and motivated buyers.
- Conduct property showings and lead thorough buyer consultations to understand their lifestyle needs, budget constraints, and long-term goals.
- Negotiate offers and counteroffers on behalf of clients to secure favorable transaction terms while protecting their best interests throughout the process.
- Coordinate property inspections, professional appraisals, and all closing activities to ensure each transaction moves forward smoothly and on schedule.
- Maintain detailed client records and complete transaction documentation accurately within the company's customer relationship management platform at all times.
- Collaborate with the HomeLight operations team to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the escrow and closing periods.
- Continuously update personal knowledge of local neighborhood trends, school district ratings, and community developments that may affect property values.
- Provide thoughtful post-closing support and follow-up outreach to ensure client satisfaction and encourage word-of-mouth referrals and repeat business.
- Attend regular team meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay current on company tools, industry regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working in real estate sales, client advisory, or a related customer-facing role within a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of local real estate markets, fundamental property valuation principles, and standard residential transaction workflows and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex real estate processes in straightforward and accessible language.
- Comfortable with a high-volume workload and the ability to manage multiple active clients and overlapping transactions at the same time.
- Self-motivated professional who takes initiative, shows personal accountability for client outcomes, and maintains a positive and persistent attitude.
- Valid Arizona real estate license or willingness to obtain one within the first ninety days of employment with full company support.
- Proficiency with digital tools and customer relationship management software for organizing leads, tracking deal progress, and managing client communications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekday evenings and weekend hours to fully accommodate client availability and preferences.

- Prior experience working with a technology-enabled real estate platform or modern brokerage that emphasizes digital tools and data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with local Scottsdale neighborhoods and the greater Phoenix metropolitan area market dynamics and community characteristics.
