About the role
Hims & Hers is on the lookout for a Senior Business Sourcer to enhance the candidate pipeline for its business and general administrative divisions. This contract position is dedicated to sourcing and engaging a diverse array of high-caliber talent for critical teams, including Marketing, Finance, and Legal. The primary goal is to ensure a continuous influx of qualified candidates for various open roles within the organization.

What you'll do
- Spearhead the early stages of candidate sourcing for business and general administrative positions, starting from understanding job requirements to engaging potential candidates and presenting them to the recruiting team.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to clarify candidate profiles, necessary qualifications, and seniority levels, subsequently crafting targeted search strategies.
- Develop and maintain talent pools by leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, employing advanced search techniques, direct outreach, professional networks, and rediscovery of internal candidates.
- Deliver diverse and qualified candidate slates, ensuring a positive experience for candidates through effective communication and transitions throughout the hiring process.
- large language models, like Claude, to streamline routine tasks, personalize outreach at scale, and enhance research methodologies.
- Track and analyze key pipeline metrics, including candidate volume, engagement rates, and quality, using data to refine sourcing strategies and provide valuable market insights.
- Document sourcing methodologies and best practices, sharing successful strategies and contributing to a repository of reusable sourcing tools for the team.
- Engage in continuous improvement by collaborating with team members to enhance sourcing techniques and share knowledge across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of specialized sourcing experience, particularly within business and general administrative functions, acquired either through in-house roles or agency environments.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing candidates for senior-level positions, ranging from Senior Manager to Director roles.
- Expertise in utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, x-ray search techniques, and CRM/sourcing platforms to effectively engage and convert passive candidates.
- Proven ability to build diverse and high-quality candidate pipelines across various business sectors, from individual contributors to management levels.
- Excellent outbound communication skills, with a knack for crafting personalized and compelling outreach messages and designing effective communication sequences.
- Familiarity with large language models, such as Claude, for automating tasks, personalizing outreach, and conducting research, including skills in prompt engineering and AI integration into workflows.
- Practical experience with Ashby or similar applicant tracking systems for managing pipelines and conducting data analysis.
- Strong partnership skills to work effectively with recruiters and hiring managers, emphasizing active listening and providing data-driven market intelligence.
- A strategic mindset with a curiosity to translate role requirements into effective search strategies while staying updated on talent market trends.
- A history of contributing to team success in a collaborative environment, focusing on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
