Director, Communications
Job description
About the role
Hiive is redefining how private companies and their shareholders access liquidity. Through its institutional-grade platform, Hiive brings together buyers, sellers, and issuers to facilitate secondary transactions in venture-backed, pre-IPO companies, introducing efficiency, transparency, and standardization to an otherwise opaque asset class. The successful candidate will define and lead the company's communications strategy across external media, executive visibility, social channels, and internal communications. You will own how Hiive is understood by the market, shaping our narrative across investors, founders, employees, shareholders, and the broader startup ecosystem. This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for building and scaling Hiive's communications function. You will partner closely with leadership, product marketing, growth, legal, and design teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all messaging. In this role, you will play a critical role in elevating Hiive's brand, strengthening market positioning, and building trust and credibility as we scale. Your work will directly support Hiive's mission to unlock liquidity for private markets through a trusted, institutional-grade platform.
