This role sits at the intersection of client management and transaction operations, requiring you to guide participants through the platform while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. You will own the full client journey for a portfolio of buyers and sellers, ensuring their experience is seamless from first contact to final settlement. What you'll do
- Act as the primary point of contact for buyers and sellers, managing their end-to-end experience on the platform.
- Provide market insights to build rapport and trust with platform users.
- Facilitate the transaction lifecycle via email, phone, and chat, from initial onboarding to final execution.
- Review transaction documentation and data for accuracy to ensure compliance and minimize operational errors.
- Coordinate with legal and operations departments to resolve issues and finalize deals.
- Identify and qualify new market participants through outreach and referrals to increase platform liquidity.
- Monitor pipeline metrics to ensure the desk meets targets for speed and client satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and decisions to support audit trails and process improvement.
- Assess the creditworthiness and intent of potential counterparties to protect against execution risk.
- Utilize the Hiive platform tools to track deal status and update stakeholders in real time.
- Develop forecasting models for deal closure probability and expected timelines.
- Collaborate with product teams to relay feedback on platform usability and feature enhancements.
- Support the design of sales scripts and playbooks to standardize best practices across the desk.
- Analyze competitive dynamics to position Hiive effectively within the secondary trading ecosystem.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in institutional sales, trading, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, investor relations, or business development.
- Proven ability to generate leads and manage high-volume outreach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple transaction workflows simultaneously.
- Financial acumen and the ability to grasp complex market dynamics.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain them shortly after starting.
- Demonstrated experience with compliance frameworks and the interpretation of regulatory documentation.
- Capacity to manage confidential information with discretion and adhere to strict data governance policies.
- Eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship for the stated work location in Vancouver, BC.
- Willingness to work standard business hours and participate in occasional after-hours deal execution as market conditions require.
