Sales Development Representative, Ad Studio
Job description
About the role
Hightouch is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our founding Ad Studio team, where you will own the end-to-end outbound motion for our new composable creative platform. You will be responsible for establishing the foundational go-to-market strategy from scratch, working hand-in-hand with leadership to define processes, messaging, and playbooks as the product evolves. This role requires direct outreach to performance marketers, creative directors, and marketing operations leaders to surface high-intent opportunities and validate product-market fit. You will act as the primary voice of the customer, translating prospect feedback into actionable insights for product and product-led growth initiatives. Success in this position means building a scalable outbound engine that positions Hightouch Ad Studio as the critical bridge between creative vision and performance execution. You must thrive in ambiguity, embrace ownership, and be comfortable making decisions with incomplete information to move fast in a high-growth environment. If you are energized by velocity and want to build a motion that has not existed before, this is your opportunity to shape the future of marketing technology.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Outreach directly into prospective customers who fit our ideal persona, including performance marketers, growth leaders, creative teams, and marketing ops professionals, using cold calls, text, emails, integrated marketing campaigns, LinkedIn campaigns, and other strategic methods.
- Collaborate with the growth team to research and craft highly personalized outreach that ties messaging to real creative and campaign pain points such as creative fatigue, slow production cycles, and brand consistency at scale.
- Discover and implement creative methods, channels, and strategies to guide prospects toward booking and completing a Hightouch Ad Studio demo that showcases the platform's core capabilities.
- Own the creation of the outbound playbook from the ground up, shaping process, messaging, tooling, and strategy for this new product instead of inheriting a predefined framework.
- Execute against monthly goals with discipline and ownership, ensuring consistent activity across outreach channels and pipeline generation.
- Partner with sales leadership to iterate on messaging frameworks, objection handling, and positioning as we refine the product story for enterprise buyers.
- Utilize data and insights to prioritize target accounts, identify in-market segments, and refine ideal customer profiles based on early signals and outcomes.
- Work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams to ensure alignment between outbound efforts, product releases, and campaign initiatives.
- Track and report on key outbound metrics including response rates, demo bookings, and conversion signals to inform continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the Ad Studio motion, communicating value, use cases, and ROI to diverse stakeholders across the customer organization.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, demonstrating foundational knowledge and commitment to professional growth.
- Operate as a self-starter with the ability to self-motivate and build from zero in a high-growth startup environment.
- Comfortably work without an established playbook and actively participate in creating the processes that will define our success.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with clarity, empathy, and persuasiveness in all interactions.
- Bring prior experience engaging customers and prospects, with at least one year of proven success in sales or business development roles.
- Show a genuine interest in technology, and ideally in marketing, advertising, or data, to better understand the problems we solve.
- Exhibit strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to organize and prioritize work across multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Willingness to comply with E-Verify requirements after hire, including the submission of Form I-9 information to the Social Security Administration and relevant government agencies as required by law.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in sales development or business development roles within the martech, ad tech, or SaaS sectors.
- Familiarity with composable marketing, CDPs, or marketing data platforms and how they impact campaign execution.
- Experience working with enterprise-level buyers in large organizations, including understanding procurement and stakeholder alignment.
- Background in creative or advertising operations, including knowledge of creative production workflows and brand governance.
- Demonstrated success in quota-carrying roles where consistent pipeline generation was a core responsibility.
