Partner Solutions Architect
Job description
About the role
You are the SE counterpart to Hightouch's partner sales team and act as a trusted technical advisor to our strategic ISV and SI partners. You spend most of your time building durable relationships with Partner Sales Engineers, partner product managers, and technical sales leaders at top platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, The Trade Desk and key systems integrators. You translate complex product capabilities into clear, partner-ready value propositions and support deal registration, discovery, and architecture reviews. The remaining portion of your time is dedicated to product feedback, where you synthesize field insights and project-manage the implementation of partner-driven changes. You will carry explicit quarterly and annual objectives tied to partner-sourced and partner-influenced ARR, which is a company-wide metric for all partnerships hires. If you thrive at the intersection of technology and collaboration, enjoy shaping platform capabilities, and are motivated by co-selling outcomes, this role is a direct path to impact.
Key facts
What you'll do
Influence the technical strategy and perception of Hightouch within partner organizations such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and The Trade Desk.
Build and deliver tailored demonstrations, hands-on labs, reference architectures, and joint solution content for partner field teams, trade shows, webinars, and major industry events.
Run enablement and certification sessions for partner sales engineers and account executives so they can position, qualify, and co-sell Hightouch solutions independently.
Provide deal-level technical support in collaboration with partner sales managers, including discovery sessions, architecture reviews, identification of technical wins, and setup of demo environments.
Package industry-specific joint solutions for sectors such as retail, financial services, and AdTech alongside partner industry principals and field CTOs.
Maintain current technical certifications and deep knowledge across Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, while staying current on broader modern data stack trends.
Translate partner engineering and technical feedback into clear, prioritized inputs for Hightouch Product and Engineering to accelerate joint positioning and co-sell opportunities.
Project-manage partner-driven roadmap items from initial scoping and requirements through engineering handoff, launch, and downstream field enablement activities.
Identify gaps in existing integrations and joint-solution opportunities with each primary ISV and drive them to completed, shippable outcomes.
Collaborate with Partner Marketing to develop solution briefs, demo vignettes, joint blog content, and other field-ready enablement assets.
Support the creation of compelling business cases and ROI narratives that resonate with executive stakeholders at partner organizations.
Champion best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within partner ecosystems to ensure scalable and repeatable deployments.
Act as a subject-matter expert during partner and customer summits, industry panels, and virtual roundtables that highlight the Composable CDP approach.
Own end-to-end ownership of specific partner initiatives, measuring success through partner-sourced pipeline, influenced bookings, and adoption metrics.
Maintain up-to-date playbooks and technical documentation that enable efficient partner onboarding and rapid response to technical inquiries.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Partner Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture, operating at or above the level of an Enterprise SE.
Hands-on fluency with SQL and at least one major cloud data platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, with an end-to-end understanding of implementation, administration, integration, and user experience.
A documented track record of influencing revenue, adoption, or product direction through partner channels, not solely through direct sales engagements.
Proven ability to establish trust and communicate effectively with senior technical stakeholders including Partner PMs, Solution Architects, Partner SEs, and alliance leadership at large independent software vendors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that allow you to comfortably address data engineers, product managers, partner sales professionals, partner account executives, and executive sponsors.
High ownership orientation, bias toward action, and comfort operating in an environment without a single assigned account executive or geographic territory.
Up to 30% travel required for partner engagements, industry summits, and customer events across North America.
Nice to have
Prior experience influencing a product roadmap from a field or partner-facing role, demonstrating how feedback was converted into shipped improvements.
Previous engagement with AdTech ISVs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Meta, or large systems integrators like Deloitte, Slalom, Capgemini, or similar consulting firms.
Existing technical certifications on Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, reflecting deep platform knowledge and commitment to professional development.
