About the role
You will own the end-to-end financial strategy and execution for HelloConnect in the Philippines, acting as the strategic financial co-pilot for the local leadership team. You will orchestrate a complex finance function that drives sustainable growth while ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance. In this role, you will translate data into decisive insights that shape business direction and create tangible value across our BPO solutions. You will serve as the critical bridge between local operations and global stakeholders, ensuring alignment between on-the-ground realities and corporate objectives. Your leadership will empower a high-performing team and foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability. Ultimately, you will be the guardian of our financial health and the driver of our strategic story in the region.

What you'll do
- Orchestrate the end-to-end financial planning and forecasting (FP&A) process, delivering board-level financial reporting and strategic insights that represent the full health of the HelloConnect business.
- Act as the strategic financial co-pilot to the Manila leadership team, translating complex financial metrics into actionable operational strategies that support headcount planning, infrastructure investment, cost efficiency, and local expansion initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between local operations in the Philippines and the Global Finance team in Berlin, ensuring local financial nuances are accurately captured and represented in global consolidated reporting.
- Develop, lead, and mentor a high-performing local finance team of 8-10 FTEs across our Philippines locations, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Oversee the daily operations of Accounting, Controlling, and Payroll, ensuring strict compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements and leading relationships with internal and external auditors.
- Understand, maintain, and sophisticatedly scale our financial model to budget, re-forecast, and continuously track actual performance of the business against budget.
- Champion digital transformation within the finance function by implementing automated solutions and modern tools to scale operations, enhance data integrity, and eliminate manual redundancies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze performance, identify variances, and drive corrective actions that optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure robust financial governance by developing and enforcing policies, controls, and processes that mitigate risk and support audit readiness.
- Provide clear, concise, and compelling financial narratives to both local and global audiences, facilitating data-driven decision-making at all levels.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to design competitive compensation frameworks and manage headcount planning to support business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to proactively advise leadership on potential impacts and strategic opportunities.
Requirements
- You possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; a Master's degree or CPA/ACCA certification is a strong advantage.
- You have a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a finance function.
- You have deep fluency in P&L management, Balance Sheet preparation (under IFRS), and Cash Flow analysis, with proven experience in complex financial reporting.
- You have extensive experience working within a global matrix organization, navigating multiple cultures, time zones, and reporting structures with ease.
- You have a proven track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing finance teams, mentoring professionals at various career stages.
- You are an expert in enterprise performance management, with sophisticated Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience in systems like Anaplan or similar EPM tools.
- You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy, integrity, and compliance in all financial matters.
- You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with resilience and agility.
- You have experience partnering with European or German headquarters, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and strong cross-border collaboration skills.
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders globally.
Nice to have
- Experience in the BPO, tech, or multinational shared services sector driving financial strategy.
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and automation tools within finance.
- Exposure to statutory audits and regulatory compliance within the Philippines.
Practical notes
The role is based in Inoza Tower, BGC. You will be expected to work full-time hours as part of a globally aligned team. Travel may be required occasionally to support business needs and to collaborate with global stakeholders. This position is subject to standard employment regulations and visa requirements as applicable in the Philippines.
