Process Engineering Manager
Job description
About the role
You will own and lead the Production Process function at Halter, building the team, operating cadence, and standards required to deliver stable and scalable production outcomes. You will translate production engineering strategy into clear quarterly priorities, project plans, and ownership across the team. Your role involves owning process engineering execution across assigned lines and products, ensuring the team improves FPY, throughput, cycle time, rework, and escape prevention. You will create a high-performance operating cadence for priorities, project reviews, escalation paths, risk visibility, documentation quality, and follow-through. You will set standards for process validation, readiness evidence, work instructions, training, process controls, and reaction plans. You will drive cross-functional alignment with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Design, Test, and Machine Design so changes land quickly and safely on the line. You will coach engineers to solve from first principles, bring data-backed recommendations, and own outcomes end-to-end. You will make balanced trade-offs between velocity and rigour, escalating only the highest-risk calls while building team capability and leveraging faster than headcount growth.
