Legal AI Implementation Strategist
Job description
About the role
This position is the critical bridge between deep legal practice and enterprise-scale AI execution. You will own the end-to-end implementation of Haast's platform within complex legal and compliance organizations, ensuring that real workflows are transformed rather than simply digitized. The role requires you to deconstruct entrenched operational habits and replace them with intelligent, automated processes powered by AI. You will act as the primary translator between customer pain points and the technical capabilities of the platform. Success in this role means turning ambiguous compliance challenges into repeatable, scalable AI workflows. You will build the trust of senior stakeholders by demonstrating tangible efficiency and risk reduction from day one. This position is designed for individuals who want to reshape the infrastructure of enterprise compliance, not just support it.

- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers during critical implementation phases to ensure alignment and success.
- Maintain a sharp focus on compliance risk and ensure that AI outputs meet the high standards expected by legal teams.
- Document implementation methodologies to create a scalable knowledge base for the customer success and delivery teams.
- Support the creation of case studies and reference materials that demonstrate the impact of AI on legal operations.

Requirements
- Practiced law or worked inside a legal or compliance function at a professional level, providing you with the foundational credibility required for this role.

- The credibility to hold a room with senior legal and compliance stakeholders from day one, earning their trust through competence and insight.
- A mind that wants to fix systems, not just work within them, constantly looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk through automation.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energised by building, not just executing, in an environment where requirements evolve based on customer feedback.
- Already curious about AI, tinkering with tools and asking how they apply to legal work, demonstrating a proactive interest in technological advancement.
- Strong analytical skills to break down complex legal processes into discrete components that can be modeled and automated.
- Excellent communication skills to explain sophisticated platform capabilities to non-technical stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to travel within the United States for customer visits, workshops, and implementation support as required by strategic accounts.
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of complex projects with minimal direct supervision.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive legal and compliance information.
- Readiness to adapt to new software, frameworks, and AI tools as part of the daily workflow of optimizing legal operations.
