The role is a Software Engineer (Full Stack) requiring the same security clearance. The position focuses on supporting cloud services for the sponsor using a specific technology stack.
What You'll Do
You will provide full stack software engineering support for sponsor cloud services. The work involves architecting and building single-page applications using modern web standards. You will develop robust RESTful services to meet backend requirements. The role includes designing database strategies for non-relational systems. You will verify performance and reliability for internet and web-related protocols. Building and executing test suites is a core responsibility. You will manage development pipelines and repository systems. The role also involves maintaining systems that rely on websockets for real-time functionality.
What You Must Have
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance suitable for this government customer.
- Hands-on experience creating single-page applications. Expertise must include HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TypeScript, and Angular 18 or higher.
- Demonstrated history of developing RESTful services using Java 17 or newer and Spring Framework 6 or newer.
- Practical experience working with non-relational database systems like DynamoDB.
- Skill in diagnosing and resolving issues related to web protocols and servers. This includes technologies such as Tomcat, Node.js, and SSL.
- Proven ability to develop automated tests. Experience must include JUnit, Jasmine, and platforms like Jest or Karma.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and workflows. This includes Git, Jenkins, and Nexus or similar repository managers.
What Would be Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Spring Security principles and implementation.
- Certification or training related to ServiceNow development.
- Experience with the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- History of building and maintaining systems using websockets.
- Demonstrated work with Angular Material for UI development.
- Experience in Lean Agile environments with fast-paced delivery.
- Background in rapid prototyping for applications with complex user interaction.
- Familiarity with legacy web stacks including AngularJS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Ability to use scripting languages like Shell, Perl, and Python to automate operations.
- Track record of working with sponsor IT systems, missions, and strategies.
- Experience communicating with senior stakeholders, management, and implementation partners.
- Skill in creating and managing issues and tasks in Jira.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure in federal settings.
