What you'll do

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in QAQC roles within the mining or geological sectors.
• Strong understanding of QAQC principles and methodologies, particularly in geological sampling and analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data management tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings and recommendations clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to mining operations.
• Willingness to travel to remote sites as required for field inspections and audits.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory management and coordination in a mining context.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices in mining operations.
• Certification in quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, is a plus.
• Previous experience working in West Africa or similar geological environments.
