The Regional Vice President of Enterprise Sales will set the strategic direction for a designated territory. This position is responsible for leading a team of Enterprise Sales Directors, guiding complex deals from initial engagement to closed revenue. Success requires a blend of strategic vision, hands-on coaching, and a deep commitment to building long-term customer trust. You will be instrumental in driving predictable growth and ensuring the team delivers against ambitious forecasts.
What You'll Do
You will manage the full sales cycle for enterprise bookings within your region, providing mentorship and tactical guidance to a team of directors. A key focus will be developing and tracking productivity metrics, including deal size, win rate, and forecast accuracy. You will coach leaders on how to build executive-level relationships with Named Enterprise accounts and navigate complex negotiations. Fostering a culture of teamwork and value-based selling is essential to achieving customer outcomes.
Another critical duty is developing trust-based relationships with customers and partners to secure Giga's long-term success. You will encourage a continuous learning mindset regarding technical product details and the future product roadmap. This includes shaping the go-to-market strategy and execution for your region. You will be expected to establish a comprehensive revenue growth and investment plan within the first 90 days. Collaborating with other function leaders, you will ensure forecast accuracy and a predictable pipeline of high-growth business, providing clear reporting on revenue forecasts and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience as a high-growth enterprise software sales leader. A proven history of exceeding sales quotas in similar technology environments is essential. You must have direct experience managing and hiring sales talent to build a high-performing team. A strong foundation in methodology-based sales coaching, including MEDDPICC principles and a Challenger Sales mentality, is required.
Your background should include value-based selling to both business and IT stakeholders at the C-suite level. You have held leadership roles managing sales organizations, where you influenced, developed, and achieved specific objectives. A solid understanding of the partner ecosystem is necessary to expand enterprise strategic territories. You are adept at implementing strategies for both consumption and commitment-based revenue models. A track record of coaching others to success, combined with personal complex closing experience, is expected.
About the Role
This senior leadership position operates at the intersection of strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
