What you'll do
Provide authoritative technical guidance and direction on a broad range of U.S. international tax compliance and consulting engagements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and methodologies to streamline the delivery of international tax compliance services, enhancing team productivity and client satisfaction.
Lead the preparation and review of complex federal tax returns, including but not limited to Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, and 8865, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging international tax issues, such as GILTI, FDII, and global intangible low-taxed income provisions, to advise clients on strategic planning opportunities.
Manage and mentor junior tax professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to strengthen the overall capability of the International Tax practice.
Interface directly with clients to gather necessary documentation, clarify complex tax positions, and communicate findings in a clear and professional manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit and consulting professionals, to deliver integrated solutions that address multifaceted client challenges.
Monitor changes in international tax laws, treaties, and regulatory guidance, translating these updates into practical implications for clients and internal processes.
Drive the identification and implementation of practice development initiatives aimed at expanding Ghj's reach and influence in the international tax arena.

Requirements
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of U.S. international tax regulations, including but not limited to Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and Section 965, as required for compliance and advisory services.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and apply them to real-world scenarios for multinational entities.
