What you'll do

- Deconstruct complex executive questions into specific model adjustments that expose hidden profitability levers and structural cost behaviors.
- Guide strategic scenario planning sessions to evaluate the financial impact of various pricing models, margin targets, and optimal channel mix strategies.
- Review and refine variance explanations to ensure the financial narrative remains precise, credible, and board-ready at all times.
- Act as the central owner of financial forecasting and modeling excellence, setting the standard for accuracy and insight across the organization.
- Provide clear, confident, and executive-level communication of financial analysis to support rapid decision-making at the highest levels of the company.
- Ensure all financial models and outputs are built with scalability in mind to support future growth beyond the interim period.

Requirements
You must bring a minimum of five years of hands-on FP&A experience within a fast-moving consumer business environment where agility and accuracy are essential. You must have a proven track record of building and rapidly adapting financial models to support strategic business choices under uncertainty. You are required to communicate with exceptional clarity and confidence when presenting analysis to executive stakeholders and board-level audiences. You must be able to interpret ambiguous business problems and translate them into structured financial analyses that drive outcomes. You must have a strong command of spreadsheet applications to construct complex financial models and scenario analyses. You must be highly proficient in creating data visualizations and professional presentations using standard software tools. You must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of detail. You must be comfortable working fully remotely while maintaining rigorous communication and delivery standards.

Direct experience working within jewelry, retail, or e-commerce environments is highly valued and provides a distinct advantage in understanding the nuances of the business. Practical notes
This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located on the West Coast or Central time zones. The engagement is interim in nature and is intended to last only for the duration of the leadership search. The compensation range for this role is $180,000 to $220,000 annually, reflective of the scope and responsibility involved.
