About the role
You will manage the source-to-pay and procure-to-pay procurement cycles for assigned categories, overseeing RFx, contract and purchase order review and execution, acceptance processes, and invoice coordination to ensure timely payments. You will conduct sourcing activities based on end-user requests, preparing side-by-side pricing comparisons and completing RFx activities within the procurement system in full compliance with company policies. You will serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and the internal Legal team, reviewing agreements, contracts, proposals, and statements of work to ensure alignment with legal requirements and company standards. You will be accountable for key performance indicators related to cost savings, service level requirements, and on-time payment SLAs while identifying cost-saving opportunities through pricing comparisons, package negotiations, and demand consolidation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide procurement support and guidance on processes and best practices, and you will lead procurement process trainings for end users as needed. You will ensure follow-up and coordination with end users on a daily basis to complete the acceptance process, enabling payments to proceed in accordance with agreed vendor terms and finance requirements.

What you'll do
- Manage the source-to-pay and procure-to-pay procurement cycles, including RFx, contract and purchase order (PO) review and execution, acceptance processes, and invoice coordination to ensure timely payments for assigned categories such as services, raw materials, CAPEX, etc.
- Conduct the sourcing process based on requests received from end users, prepare side-by-side pricing comparisons, and complete RFx activities in the procurement system in compliance with company policies.
- Accountable for KPIs related to cost savings, service level requirements, and on-time payment SLAs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, contracts, and long-term agreements with suppliers to drive value for the company.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through pricing comparisons across sources, package negotiations, and demand consolidation.
- Ensure to follow up and coordinate with end users on a daily basis to complete the acceptance process, ensuring that payment can be processed on time, in accordance with the agreed payment terms with the vendor, and to meet the finance requirement for the on-time payment rate.
- Responsible for new material code creation, vendor onboarding, comprehensive contract reviews within the contract management system (CMS), and initiating and completing the acceptance process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and the internal Legal team, reviewing agreements, contracts, proposals, and statements of work (SOWs) to ensure alignment with legal requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide procurement support and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement processes and best practices.
- Lead procurement process trainings for end users as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on Indirect (CAPEX, Services, etc.) or Direct materials (chemicals, lab consumables, etc.).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Project management skills, with experience in procurement for construction projects preferred; this experience will be considered a significant advantage.
- Proven capability to navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment while adapting to shifting priorities and identifying opportunities.
- Compliance with company policies and system protocols in executing RFx, contract, and PO activities.
- Ability to serve as the key liaison among vendors, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Attention to detail in contract reviews, material code creation, and vendor onboarding processes.
- Commitment to achieving KPIs related to cost savings, service levels, and on-time payment performance.
- Willingness to coordinate daily acceptance follow-ups to support finance requirements for payment processing.

Compensation: Estimated salary range $60,000 - $70,000, based on experience.
