About the role
You will direct and drive sales efforts within assigned key accounts across the United States, owning the full sales cycle from initial engagement to strategic account expansion. You will act as the primary point of contact, building executive-level relationships and positioning GenScript/ProBio as a trusted biotechnology partner. You will analyze account performance, identify growth gaps, and implement detailed plans to maximize profitability across all business units in your region. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Solution Management team to align solutions with client needs and achieve set objectives. You will propose innovative ideas and data-driven strategies to boost sales and operational improvements. You will ensure strict adherence to regional sales targets while navigating an international business environment with professionalism.

What you'll do
Establish strategic objectives and sales strategies for assigned key accounts to achieve targeted revenue goals.
Own and refine the sales pipeline specific to each key account, ensuring consistent growth and sustainable business development.
Analyze historical sales data and current performance metrics to identify underperforming areas and design corrective action plans.
Coordinate and synchronize efforts with the Technical Solution Management team to deliver cohesive solutions that satisfy client demands.
Champion innovative concepts and process improvements designed to increase sales volumes and operational excellence.
Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to remove roadblocks and maximize efficiency in delivering value to key accounts.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the life science and CRO sectors to maintain a competitive edge.
Develop deep expertise in one or more specialized markets including gene synthesis, protein expression, peptide synthesis, bioassay services, antibody development, or cell line engineering.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and quality standards while managing high-level client interactions.
Utilize advanced consultative selling techniques to uncover client needs and present tailored GenScript/ProBio solutions.
Build long-term executive relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to decision-makers.
Leverage internal resources and tools to forecast sales, track progress, and report on key performance indicators.
Identify new expansion opportunities within existing accounts to drive incremental growth and enhance client lifetime value.
Represent GenScript/ProBio at industry events and client meetings, reinforcing the company's market leadership and brand integrity.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities, forecasts, and account plans within the CRM system.
Continuously seek feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to refine service offerings and improve satisfaction.
Adapt to evolving customer expectations and market conditions while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in a life science discipline accompanied by hands-on laboratory experience.
Possess a minimum of one year of successful sales experience in a scientific or technical environment.
Demonstrate the ability to build and manage executive-level relationships as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
Show strong knowledge of the life science and contract research organization (CRO) markets with emphasis on gene synthesis, protein expression, peptide synthesis, bioassay, antibody development, or cell line development.
Prove capability to operate effectively and achieve results in an international business environment.
Commit to traveling up to 50% in the field when circumstances permit and scheduling allows.
Display strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for meeting and exceeding assigned sales targets.
Have experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder engagements.
Be proficient in using sales management tools and CRM platforms to track progress and forecast accurately.
Understand regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to the biotechnology and life science sectors.
Possess a results-driven mindset with the resilience to overcome objections and navigate long sales cycles.

The estimated base salary range is structured to reflect experience and regional market standards. Travel requirements may vary based on client needs and project scopes, with arrangements aligned to company policy. The position reports to the Director, Pharma Group II and works in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and technical capabilities.
