About the role
You will oversee routine quality control testing for genetic and molecular products according to strict standard operating procedures. You will accurately document every testing result and maintain detailed laboratory records for traceability and compliance. You will conduct molecular biology assays such as DNA quantification, agarose gel electrophoresis, restriction digestion, and endotoxin testing as part of routine QC workflows. You will perform product aliquoting, precise labeling, and final preparation steps before product release to ensure accuracy and consistency. You will review and verify all laboratory test results to confirm that products meet predefined quality specifications prior to release. You will promptly report any quality issues and assist in deviation investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. You will maintain all laboratory equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and safe, while upholding a safe, organized, and compliant working environment. You will collaborate closely with Production and other departments to support smooth manufacturing operations and timely product delivery.

What you'll do
Perform routine quality control testing according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documented protocols.
Accurately document testing results and maintain detailed, organized laboratory records for audit and review purposes.
Conduct molecular biology assays, including DNA quantification, agarose gel electrophoresis, restriction digestion, endotoxin testing, and other QC-related analyses.
Perform product aliquoting, precise labeling, and final preparation activities before product release in accordance with established procedures.
Review and verify laboratory test results to ensure products meet all quality specifications and regulatory requirements before release.
Report quality issues promptly and participate in deviation investigations and root cause analysis to identify corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain all laboratory equipment, instruments, and workstations to ensure proper function, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and other departments to support seamless manufacturing operations and timely resolution of issues.
Follow all laboratory safety requirements, standard operating procedures, and company quality management systems during every shift.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process optimizations, and other tasks assigned by your supervisor or team lead.
Assist in validation and qualification activities as required to support product release and regulatory compliance.
Support inventory management and sample tracking activities to ensure traceability and data integrity.
Assist in troubleshooting issues that arise during production or testing that may impact product quality or delivery.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and compliant laboratory environment that adheres to cGMP and safety guidelines.
Requirements
Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or other related disciplines.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered for entry-level positions.
Candidates with laboratory internship or relevant working experience are welcome, though prior experience is not required for this role.
You must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and demonstrate strong attention to detail in all tasks.
You must be comfortable working in a regulated laboratory environment where accuracy, consistency, and compliance are essential.
You must be able to work collaboratively within a team-based environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners.
You must be available to work the scheduled shifts as required by operational needs in Singapore.
