Senior AI Engineer

Join a team dedicated to enhancing supply chain visibility through artificial intelligence. You will contribute to building intelligent agents that automate critical logistics processes, impacting global operations for major corporations. This role involves end-to-end development of backend systems with some frontend integration.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Build and deploy AI-driven workflows and agents, such as those for customer support automation, voice-based carrier interaction, and streamlined onboarding.
• Create and maintain backend applications using Python and either Java or GoLang.
• Write and test code throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Design and implement database structures and schemas.
• Work with the frontend team to connect backend services to the user interface.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within applications and AI agent systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps for production deployments using Kubernetes.
• Stay current with advancements in AI and agentic technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a Backend or Software Developer role, with practical experience in AI or agentic systems.
• Proficiency in Python is essential.
• Demonstrated ability in either Java or GoLang.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with LangGraph or comparable agentic frameworks.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies including React.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with the full Agile software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Git version control and Agile tools like JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services.
