What you'll do

• Design and implement software features using Golang and React.
• Contribute to the development of a scalable, distributed architecture.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create market-leading products.
• Measure and improve the performance of existing software.
• Deliver high-quality, testable features that meet reporting standards.

• Guide and develop the skills of other engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to propose new ideas and build consensus.
• Experience building and serving REST APIs with Go, or alternatively Java or Python.
• Experience with distributed, cloud-based systems, including patterns like transactional outboxes or messaging queues such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
• Demonstrated experience using large language model tools for productivity and research.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL relational databases via an ORM.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, NewRelic, or Datadog for monitoring.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of containerized microservices deployed on Kubernetes within AWS.
• A track record of delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
• Experience prioritizing solutions and improvements based on stakeholder and customer input.
