What you'll do

• Architect and develop financial software solutions using Golang, Python, and SQL to support core business operations.
• Partner with accounting and finance departments to automate workflows and ensure data integrity across financial systems.
• Design and scale distributed systems that meet enterprise-grade compliance standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, guiding projects from initial design discussions through to production deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor engineering team members to elevate technical knowledge, improve code quality, and promote sustainable development practices.
• Instrument code for production monitoring and alerting using observability platforms to ensure system health and rapid issue resolution.
• Evaluate and deploy software tools and metrics that drive continuous product improvement and operational efficiency.
• Implement robust data models and database schemas that support complex financial transactions and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot intricate production issues by analyzing logs, metrics, and system behavior to identify root causes quickly.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience demonstrating consistent delivery of high-quality software.
• Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, Python, or Java in production environments.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field that provides a strong foundational knowledge.
• Proficiency in using AI tools like Claude for productivity, research, and communication to enhance development workflows.
• Ability to build consensus and drive technical direction within a team, influencing peers and stakeholders effectively.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting processes to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of work.
• Willingness to engage in hands-on coding and troubleshooting across the entire technology stack as required.

• Prior professional experience working as an accountant or financial analyst in a corporate or fintech setting.
