- Participate in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate system behavior.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst.
- Solid understanding of financial operations such as reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and familiar with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with backend API development and integration.
- Experience with relational database storage, retrieval, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology, and release processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Location: Brazil, Remote
Compensation: $1,500 - $4,000 per month (Gross in USD)
Hours: Full-time
Application Process
The selection process is structured to ensure transparency and consistency. Advancement through each step is not guaranteed. The process begins with your application, followed by a Wonderlic test (30-40 minutes), a coding assessment (approximately 1.5 hours), an interview with recruiters (30 minutes), an interview with engineers (1 hour), and an interview with engineering leadership (30-45 minutes). Upon successful completion, you will receive an offer.
Technology Stack
You will work with a modern technology stack that includes Golang for backend services, React and React Native for frontend applications, and Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus for metrics and monitoring. The infrastructure runs on Kubernetes and AWS, with Amazon Aurora (MySQL) RDS as the primary database. GitLab CI/CD pipelines manage deployments, and the team emphasizes unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. The company favors open source solutions and builds in-house whenever possible.
