About the Role
The Credentialing and Enrollment Coordinator supports the healthcare provider compliance process. The position verifies provider qualifications and manages the enrollment of groups and providers with government and commercial insurance payers. It ensures providers are properly credentialed and enrolled in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner. This function minimizes delays in providers' ability to see patients and bill for services. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and organized. They possess a deep understanding of Medicaid and Medicare group and provider enrollment processes. The candidate is comfortable navigating multiple credentialing and payer systems. They communicate and collaborate professionally with providers, team members, and payer representatives.

The Credentialing and Enrollment Coordinator will work closely with the Credentialing and Enrollment Team, Clinical Operations department, and clinical staff. They uphold the standards of professional practice and regulatory compliance. These standards include CMS, NCQA, and PECOS. The role has a primary focus on supporting the credentialing and enrollment of registered dietitians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizing intake documents and provider data for payer review.
- Building digital profiles and enrollment files for dietitians across programs.
- Reviewing requirements and coordinating corrections with clinical teams.
- Shipping accurate credentialing packets to government and commercial insurers.
- Partnering with national retailers accepting SNAP benefits for market expansion.
- Coordinating member SNAP applications to improve food access nationwide.
- Updating system records to track compliance and deadlines efficiently.

Requirements
- Eligibility to work within the United States for this role.
- Three years of experience in healthcare or payer enrollment.
- Thorough understanding of Medicaid and Medicare group enrollment procedures.
- The ability to navigate multiple credentialing and payer systems with focus.
- Professional communication skills with providers and payer representatives.
