About the role
The is responsible for owning the strategic development and execution of content and field marketing programs that establish the company as the definitive leader in foodcare. This role requires building and maintaining core messaging, thought leadership, and sales enablement assets to ensure all stakeholders clearly understand Foodsmart's value proposition. The successful hire will translate complex clinical evidence and measurable customer outcomes into clear, compelling, and on-brand narratives specifically designed for health plan decision-makers. They will grow and maintain a high-value library of strategic assets, including benchmark reports, in-depth case studies, and the Clinical Intelligence Series. Identifying new ways to improve storytelling, demand generation, and sales enablement is a core function, with an emphasis on testing new ideas rigorously and scaling what demonstrates measurable success. Ownership of the company strategic events program is central, requiring the development and oversight of an annual events calendar that includes trade shows, customer events, and strategic sponsorships. Close partnership with the sales team is essential to develop integrated account-based marketing campaigns that combine content, events, digital channels, and executive engagement to advance opportunities. The role demands leadership in cross-functional event planning and execution, aligning Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation. The Senior Manager will also develop and execute integrated event marketing and sales enablement plans, covering promotional campaigns, collateral, account targeting, meeting support, social media, and on-site brand experience. A critical responsibility involves measuring and optimizing event performance to continuously improve operational efficiency, attendee experience, and return on investment. Finally, the role owns the Foodsmart B2B LinkedIn strategy, utilizing thought leadership to build credibility and actively engage health plan leaders, while actively supporting the sales team's social selling efforts to find, engage, and build relationships with target contacts.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain core messaging, thought leadership, and sales enablement assets to position Foodsmart as the leader in foodcare.
- Create pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, competitive positioning documents, and account-specific support materials for sales teams.
- Translate clinical evidence and customer outcomes into clear, compelling, and accessible messaging tailored for health plan decision-makers.
- Conceptualize, develop, and grow a high-value library of content, including benchmark reports, detailed case studies, and the Clinical Intelligence Series.
- Identify and implement new methods to enhance storytelling, drive demand generation, and strengthen sales enablement, testing hypotheses and scaling successful initiatives.
- Own the company strategic events program, including the annual events calendar, trade show participation, customer-hosted events, and sponsorship activations.
- Partner closely with the sales department to develop integrated account-based marketing campaigns that unify content, events, digital channels, and executive-level engagement.
- Lead complex cross-functional event planning and execution, ensuring seamless alignment and collaboration among Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive stakeholders.
- Develop and execute comprehensive integrated event marketing and sales enablement plans, incorporating promotional campaigns, targeted collateral, account-specific strategies, meeting support, social media content, and on-site brand experiences.
- Establish key performance indicators for events, measure performance rigorously, and optimize initiatives to improve operational efficiency, attendee satisfaction, and overall return on investment.
- Own and execute the Foodsmart B2B LinkedIn strategy, leveraging thought leadership articles and targeted messaging to build credibility and engage health plan leaders effectively.
- Support the sales teams' social selling initiatives by providing tools, training, and guidance to help identify, engage, and build meaningful relationships with target decision-makers.
- Stand up account-focused paid media campaigns as the program matures and scales, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives and sales targets.
Requirements
- Demonstrate more than + years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with deep expertise in content and enablement as well as events and field marketing, backed by a proven track record of owning marketing programs from initial strategy through full execution and measurement.
- Act as a true strategic partner to sales teams, consistently thinking in terms of specific accounts, target buyers, and advancing real opportunities rather than focusing on superficial vanity metrics.
- Bring prior experience marketing within healthcare payers or another complex enterprise environment characterized by long sales cycles, with a demonstrated ability to understand the nuances of earning a first meeting with a senior-level buyer.
- Possess exceptional writing and marketing capabilities, with the skill to rapidly transform clinical evidence, customer outcomes data, and business strategy into polished, on-brand content that is both accurate and engaging.
- Show hands-on experience with key technology platforms, including a CRM such as Salesforce, a marketing automation platform like HubSpot or equivalent, and LinkedIn for professional networking and outreach.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with robust program management abilities to simultaneously manage event logistics and content production deadlines without compromising quality or deliverables.

- It is helpful if the candidate brings prior experience in food-as-medicine approaches, value-based care models, or working within Medicaid or Medicare managed care environments.
- Previous experience thriving in fast-moving startup settings where marketing priorities evolve rapidly and professionals are expected to own both strategic planning and full execution of marketing initiatives.
- A history of successfully building an events engine or field marketing program from the ground up, establishing the foundational processes and frameworks.
- Comfort with foundational marketing operations tasks, including setting up campaign tracking, maintaining marketing hygiene, and generating basic performance reports.
