What you'll do

• Develop and implement liquidity management strategies to optimize cash flow and enhance financial performance across various business units.
• Monitor daily liquidity positions and forecast cash requirements to ensure that the organization meets its financial obligations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and compliance, to ensure alignment on liquidity management strategies and objectives.
• Analyze market trends and economic factors that may impact liquidity and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare detailed reports on liquidity metrics, including cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, and liquidity risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders to facilitate effective liquidity management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to liquidity management and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in liquidity management and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to align liquidity management with overall business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the organization's liquidity position under various market conditions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in liquidity management to ensure that Flutterwavego remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in liquidity management, treasury, or financial analysis, preferably within the fintech or banking sector.
• Strong understanding of liquidity risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in cash flow forecasting, liquidity modeling, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, as well as advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with treasury management systems and financial software is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with blockchain technology and its implications for liquidity management.
• Experience in working with international markets and understanding cross-border liquidity challenges.
