About the role
You will act as the primary point of contact for a strategic panel of broker partners, owning the end to end management of these relationships to drive mutual growth and long term success. You will leverage an AI first mindset, using intelligent tools to research brokers, prepare for meetings, and analyse pipeline data so that more of your time is spent on high value conversations. In this role, you will build, grow and develop our broker panel, accelerating onboarding of new partners and maximising their commercial potential through consultative engagement. You will deliver high volumes of broker submissions in support of ambitious growth targets and actively find new ways to promote Flock's connected fleet proposition. You will work closely with internal teams to align on shared objectives and maintain strong broker advocacy by being visible, responsive and passionate about our mission.

What you'll do
Act as a primary face of Flock for a panel of key broker partners, driving mutual growth and long term success.
Deliver high volumes of broker submissions, directly supporting Flock's ambitious growth targets.
Build, grow and develop our broker panel, onboarding new partners at pace and maximising their commercial potential.
Proactively engage brokers, finding new and creative ways to promote Flock's appetite and proposition as we expand into new sectors.
Develop and execute clear, data-driven account growth strategies to drive sustained performance.
Achieve strong conversion and retention by supporting day to day trading activity and helping brokers win and retain business.
Work closely with internal teams, collaborating with brilliant Flockers across the business to deliver shared growth objectives.
Maintain strong broker advocacy by being visible, responsive and passionate about Flock's product, proposition and mission.
Use AI in your day to day work, from broker research and meeting prep to analysing your pipeline, so your time goes on relationships rather than admin.
Continuously monitor broker performance and market trends, feeding insights back internally to refine our value proposition and distribution strategy.
Identify and prioritise opportunities within existing broker relationships to expand Flock's footprint across their client base.
Support the design and testing of new broker incentives and tools that improve the ease of doing business with Flock.
Represent Flock at broker events and networking opportunities, strengthening our brand presence in the commercial motor fleet market.
Track and report on key broker performance metrics, using data to inform decision making and prioritisation.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing broker relationships within the insurance sector, possessing a reputable standing in the industry.
Energy and innovation in abundance, the ability to work fast, spot opportunity and solve problems.
A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, driving business growth, and closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve collective objectives.
An existing network of broker contacts that will enable a rapid integration and immediate impact within Flock's business development realm.
Exceptional understanding of the commercial broker marketplace, competitor carriers, broker business models, and processes.
Ability to deliver a consultative sales process, aligning Flock's value proposition with brokers' current and future business needs.
Comfortable using AI in your daily work, from research and meeting prep to account analysis, and curious about where else it could help you win business.
Nice to have
Experience building networks of brokers in a Commercial Motor Fleet setting.
Have a broker distribution background with an active panel of brokers in the commercial insurance market.
Can embrace new technologies and products, with experience of successfully distributing these to brokers.
