Your responsibilities will include devising and executing account strategies while working closely with various stakeholders to boost product adoption and resolve customer challenges. What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for account management aimed at achieving revenue growth targets.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to track forecasts, pipeline activities, and overall progress toward sales objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in engineering, purchasing, and management roles.
- Provide consultative support during customer design and purchasing processes to promote product utilization.
- Deliver professional presentations of products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify customer challenges and opportunities, proposing tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
- Gather and disseminate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to sales and product development teams.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to bolster business development initiatives.
- Utilize effective sales techniques and continuously refine your approach to maximize account performance.
- Keep detailed records of forecasts, opportunities, account activities, and progress reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial sales, particularly in mechanical components related to automation or assembly equipment, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated consultative sales skills with the ability to engage effectively at various levels within customer organizations.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions.
- Strategic thinker with the capability to develop and implement effective account growth strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to a wide range of audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving revenue targets and measurable outcomes.

- Expect approximately 30% overnight travel as part of the job responsibilities.
- Salary range: On-target earnings can reach up to $135,000, in addition to a car allowance.
