About the role
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth within significant accounts in the Factory Automation sector. Your responsibilities will include crafting account strategies, collaborating with various internal teams, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients, thereby enhancing product utilization and addressing application-related challenges.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive account management strategies aimed at achieving revenue growth targets.
- Partner with internal sales teams to assess forecasts, pipeline activities, and monitor progress towards established goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers across engineering, purchasing, and management sectors.
- Provide consultative support during the customer design and purchasing phases to facilitate product adoption.
- Deliver professional presentations of products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify customer pain points and opportunities, proposing tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
- Collect and disseminate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to sales leadership and product teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and leadership to bolster business development initiatives.

- Keep precise records of forecasts, opportunities, account activities, and updates on progress to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial sales, particularly in selling mechanical components within automation or assembly equipment is advantageous.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to engage various levels within a customer organization effectively.
- High business acumen and the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions.
- Strategic mindset capable of formulating and executing plans for account expansion.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to varied audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with conflict resolution skills.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving revenue targets and measurable results.
- Proven capability to build relationships and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative in all tasks.
- Adaptability and responsiveness in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with the automation industry, mechanical components, or related manufacturing sectors is a plus.
- Experience engaging with markets such as automotive, semiconductor, medical, or electric vehicles is preferred.

Salary Range: On-target earnings (OTE) up to $135,000, including a car allowance.
