What you'll do

• Lead and manage the field operations team, ensuring that all projects are executed according to established timelines and budgets.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals, enhancing efficiency and productivity across all field activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and that project milestones are met.
• Monitor field operations performance metrics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Foster a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits, and promoting best practices among field teams.
• Provide training and mentorship to field staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge to improve overall team performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding field operations, addressing any concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for field operations.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on field operations performance, including project status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, integrating new technologies and methodologies into field operations to maintain a competitive edge.
• Manage budgets for field operations, ensuring that expenditures align with financial targets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all work meets the company's quality standards and client expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the construction or project management industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and complex projects, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry, with a commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean construction principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices in construction.
• Previous experience in a multi-site operational role.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in a project-based environment.
• Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous.
