What you'll do

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying or a similar role, with a proven track record of successful project execution.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments such as total stations, levels, and GPS equipment.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to various job sites, sometimes requiring overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with CAD software and other surveying-related tools is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Professional Surveyor (PS) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Experience with drone surveying technology and data collection methods.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and land use planning principles.
- Previous experience in a client-facing role, enhancing customer relationship management skills.
- Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, to better serve diverse client bases.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in surveying software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant programs.
- Strong mathematical skills, particularly in geometry and trigonometry, to ensure accurate calculations.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data analysis and mapping.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes.
