What you'll do
- Lead a team of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.

- Analyze project performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize team performance and ensure project demands are met.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to refine processes.
- Facilitate project kick-off meetings and ensure all team members are aligned on project goals and responsibilities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, developing contingency plans to address potential challenges.
- Foster a culture of accountability and transparency within the project management team, encouraging open communication and collaboration.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in project management tools and techniques, integrating them into the organization's practices as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management related to project execution.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
- Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
