What you'll do

• Lead a team of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices to enhance project delivery and efficiency across the organization.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize team performance and ensure project demands are met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to refine processes.
• Facilitate project kick-off meetings and ensure all team members are aligned on project goals and responsibilities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, developing contingency plans to address potential challenges.
• Foster a culture of accountability and transparency within the project management team, encouraging open communication and collaboration.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in project management tools and techniques, integrating them into the organization's practices as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management related to project execution.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
• Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
