SAP Supply Chain Planning Analyst
Job description
About the role
Everpure is a defining force in modern data infrastructure. Our environment demands original thought, rapid advancement, and participation among the sharpest technical minds. If you are prepared to grasp limitless potential and shape the industry, join our ranks. You will operate at the intersection of statistical science and commercial strategy, owning the integrity of our global demand planning processes from data ingestion to executive presentation. This position requires you to act as a technical steward of the SAP IBP ecosystem, ensuring that every forecast and every plan reflects the highest standard of accuracy and reliability. You will be accountable for transforming complex, often noisy, supply chain signals into clear, actionable narratives that drive confident decision-making across the organization. Your work will directly influence how efficiently we allocate inventory, satisfy customer demand, and align commercial ambition with operational reality. By maintaining rigorous control over data and methodology, you enable the business to move faster with greater confidence.
Key facts
What you'll do
You execute statistical forecasting engineering inside SAP IBP, generating and refining baseline predictions using data-driven inputs to establish a robust foundation for monthly commercial planning cycles.
You track forecast performance by analyzing critical error measurements such as MAPE, WMAPE, and bias, isolating structural variances so cross-functional teams can identify root causes and continuously improve plan achievement.
You maintain demand planning master data integrity across product hierarchies, location assignments, and planning segments, utilizing SAP IBP Fiori interfaces and Excel Add-ins to keep configuration maps synchronized with corporate expansion.
You streamline the consensus planning workflow by consolidating strategic commercial inputs from sales and marketing, verifying data quality, and producing executive-ready S&OP planning packages for critical alignment sessions.
You conduct scenario and what-if analyses within the SAP IBP environment to evaluate the impact of demand shocks, capacity constraints, and inventory policy changes on future supply chain performance.
You collaborate closely with the Plan to Forecast Lead to validate model outputs, challenge assumptions, and ensure that statistical outputs align with commercial reality and market trends.
You support the end-to-end S&OP cycle by preparing data visualizations, reconciling inventory balances, and highlighting exceptions that require leadership attention or rapid corrective action.
You contribute to the continuous improvement of forecasting processes by documenting best practices, identifying automation opportunities, and mentoring junior team members on standard techniques and tools.
You ensure adherence to data governance standards by controlling versioning, monitoring data latency, and resolving discrepancies in planning inputs across global regions.
You act as a key liaison between technical teams and commercial stakeholders, translating complex analytical concepts into clear recommendations that drive consensus and execution.
Requirements
You bring three or more years of hands-on experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis, demonstrating a strong grasp of quantitative statistical modeling and core inventory optimization frameworks.
You possess proven practical familiarity with SAP IBP Demand Planning or SAP APO DP environments, showing strong technical comfort navigating IBP Excel Add-ins and Fiori-based planning views.
You exhibit exceptional analytical capability to interpret complex datasets, manage multi-layered product structures, and cleanly maintain process documentation within a highly structured, deadline-driven global planning calendar.
You have excellent communication skills to interface with diverse global business partners across sales, marketing, and logistics, ensuring data inputs remain accurate and consensus cycles proceed smoothly.
This role requires physical presence in our Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
You demonstrate a meticulous approach to accuracy, with the discipline to validate data, test assumptions, and verify outputs before releasing plans to downstream stakeholders.
You thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment where priorities shift quickly and you must balance multiple planning initiatives against strict monthly deadlines.
You are comfortable working within regulated data landscapes, understanding the importance of audit trails, access controls, and compliance in sensitive planning systems.
