Location, Compensation, and Engagement

This role is based in Santa Clara, California. The position offers a base compensation range of $180,000 to $220,000 per year and is a high-growth engagement shaping the future of Everpure's storage platforms.

Core Responsibilities

You will orchestrate the intake of customer demands and market data to define the strategic direction for our system products. A core part of your role involves designing actionable product requirements, merging user stories, acceptance criteria, and PRDs for both hardware and software initiatives. You will build and manage the systems roadmap, guiding end-to-end delivery from design reviews through launch readiness for FlashArray and FlashBlade.

Coordinating global operations is another key function. You will collaborate with Hardware and Operations teams to refine configuration rules and SKU definitions, simplifying the deployment process for field teams and customers. Acting as a central liaison, you will ensure clear communication and alignment between Engineering, Purity software, and QA teams, tracking the delivery of key features against organizational goals.

You will challenge existing approaches by analyzing telemetry, support patterns, and sales signals. This analysis will uncover system bottlenecks and product gaps, allowing you to turn insights into quantitative recommendations. Your work will champion cross-functional alignment, ensuring engineering goals consistently match organizational priorities for schedule and quality. Finally, you will defend shipping decisions by presenting clear analysis and proposing confident paths forward.

Success in this role requires a proven ability to break down complex technical challenges into structured, shippable increments using data-driven logic. You must demonstrate high performance in a technical product, program management, or engineering-adjacent role, managing projects from concept to completion.

A genuine interest in high-performance storage systems is essential. You should possess a deep curiosity about how FlashArray and FlashBlade work, willing to dive into hardware, software, and operational details. Your communication skills must be sharp, allowing you to present analysis clearly and influence stakeholders while remaining open to data and critique.

You will manage end-to-end delivery of defined functional areas, ensuring operability and performance meet rigorous standards. Collaborating closely with Solutions Engineers and customers, you will translate day-to-day challenges into actionable product requirements. You will also work with Operations to maintain accurate configuration rules and SKU definitions, enabling easy deployment.
