About the role
You will own the end-to-end technical lifecycle for Portworx® by Everpure® customers in the Bangalore region, acting as the primary technical partner for enterprise deployments. You will diagnose and resolve the most complex cloud-native storage issues while collaborating directly with product engineering to drive solutions. This role requires you to translate ambiguous customer problems into concrete technical actions and validate fixes in production environments. You will serve as the voice of the customer within the engineering organization, ensuring feedback shapes product direction. You will mentor customer engineers on best practices for operating containerized data services at scale. You will own the success of critical accounts by ensuring their workloads perform reliably on Kubernetes and containerized infrastructure. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through architectural decisions that impact their business outcomes.

What you'll do
- Drive enterprise customer adoption by enabling technical installation, integration, and proof-of-concept execution for Portworx® deployments.
- Perform deep problem diagnosis and triage for multi-layer cloud-native stacks, analyzing logs, application workflows, and containerized workloads across public and private cloud environments.
- Resolve complex technical issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum platform reliability for key enterprise accounts.
- Partner with field systems engineers and account teams to deliver end-to-end technical expertise across all stages of Portworx® deployment and operations.
- Author and maintain high-impact knowledge base articles, technical documentation, and FAQ guides to build customer self-service capabilities.
- Streamline internal support workflows by creating clear escalation paths and reusable solutions for recurring customer challenges.
- Enable pre-sales activities by preparing and executing technical demonstrations that showcase the scalability and reliability of cloud-native storage.
- Collaborate with core R&D teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve architecture challenges reported by enterprise customers.
- Support on-call and shift-based structures to address mission-critical infrastructure issues across global deployments.
- Translate intricate customer issues into actionable engineering tasks that guide product improvements and future feature development.
Requirements
- Demonstrate verifiable expertise in customer-facing technical support, site reliability engineering (SRE), or cloud systems engineering within enterprise software environments.
- Apply deep practical knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or VMware Tanzu in real-world deployments.
- Apply deep practical knowledge of major public cloud ecosystems such as AWS or Azure when designing and troubleshooting data services.
- Exhibit proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps tools including Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to manage complex software stacks.
- Exhibit strong Linux troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues in containerized and cloud-native environments.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, managing customer escalations and translating technical challenges into clear solutions.
- Adapt to flexible shift structures and on-call rotation schedules required to support mission-critical global infrastructure 24 hours a day.
- Work reliably from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure policies, except during approved PTO, work travel, or other authorized leave.
