The Finance Transformation team within our Chief Accounting Office is tasked with modernizing and optimizing financial and operational procedures. We are seeking an AI & Automation Program Lead, Finance Transformation to spearhead automation and artificial intelligence projects. Success in this position requires a cooperative approach, working directly with stakeholders to evaluate workflows and deploy scalable, high-impact technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities
You will serve as the central owner of the AI and automation portfolio for the CAO organization. Your daily efforts will focus on several critical areas. You will work alongside teams across the CAO and CFO organizations to reassess existing workflows and pinpoint chances for automation and AI integration. Close collaboration with IT, data engineering, security, and infrastructure specialists will be essential to guarantee that solutions are robust, protected, and maintainable.
A core part of your position involves documenting both current and future process models. You will construct detailed business cases that outline return on investment, risk assessment, and cost-benefit analysis for automation projects. Defining a clear roadmap is another priority, utilizing appropriate tools, platforms, and technologies such as RPA, low-code/no-code platforms, AI services, and data integration methods. These must align with the overarching CFO strategy and the enterprise architecture framework.
You will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and implementing concrete automation solutions. This may include tools like Alteryx, Power Automate, bots, scripts, and integrations designed to enhance process efficiency, minimize manual effort, and improve data precision. Your role will blend strategic consultation with hands-on implementation, allowing you to configure tools, connect APIs, or develop automations directly.
Establishing and maintaining strict governance, controls, and documentation for automated and AI-driven processes is mandatory. This includes managing audit trails and defining procedures for exception handling. You will also train and enable finance and business teams to ensure they can adopt and sustain these automation solutions effectively. Staying informed about emerging AI and automation trends, tools, and best practices will be necessary to advance Everpure's capabilities continuously.
This position is based primarily in our Santa Clara, CA office. Compliance with Everpure's location policies is required, with exceptions for PTO, work travel, or other approved absences.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will function as a liaison between business requirements and technical execution. You should be analytical, collaborative, and focused on delivering results.
- Bring a minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or operations, ideally within finance, accounting, or shared services contexts.
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of hands-on experience with automation, RPA, AI/ML, or workflow tools.
- Show a strong capability to map processes, gather requirements, and perform gap analysis to uncover improvement opportunities.
- Prove a track record of designing and implementing automation or AI solutions in a business setting.
- Possess a solid grasp of data integration, APIs, and databases, including SQL and ETL concepts.
- Communicate with excellence and manage stakeholders effectively, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Act as a self-driven leader capable of guiding end-to-end initiatives independently while delivering measurable outcomes.
- Have direct experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, billing, financial, or accounting platforms.
