About the role
You will evangelize EverPure's radically simple, all-flash enterprise storage technology and modern data platform solutions to ensure federal customers in the Greater Ottawa Area fully comprehend the transformative value of the Pure portfolio. You will build and expand trusted relationships with key stakeholders and influencers across government departments, driving strategic account plans that leverage EverPure's internal resources, channel ecosystem, and partner network to win new public sector customers. This role demands that you lead coordinated pursuit teams comprising sales engineering, leadership, and strategic partners to navigate complex procurement cycles and advance opportunities through every stage. You will manage and grow a robust pipeline of opportunities to consistently meet or exceed demanding quarterly and annual quotas in a highly competitive environment. Equally important is your ability to collaborate closely with strategic partners, system integrators, and resellers who support major federal technology initiatives and ensure alignment with customer mission priorities. You will operate within controlled or secure government environments, applying a Challenger mindset to translate customer insight and technical understanding into compelling solutions for persistent IT infrastructure challenges. Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships that influence buying decisions and accelerate deal progression across complex hierarchies.
Interpret and leverage federal acquisition vehicles such as PISA and other approved supply frameworks to position solutions within official buying processes.
Develop and manage a multi-opportunity pipeline that balances breadth and depth to ensure consistent quota attainment in the Ottawa region.
Facilitate proof-of-concept and demonstration scenarios that validate technical fit and demonstrate tangible return on investment for public sector clients.
Negotiate commercial terms and collaborate with legal and finance teams to structure agreements that satisfy both customer needs and EverPure's objectives.
Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to product and leadership teams to refine positioning and drive continuous improvement in federal-focused offerings.
Lead proactive account planning and forecasting activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks across the customer lifecycle.
Represent EverPure at industry events, vendor briefings, and partner forums to strengthen brand presence and generate new demand within the Ottawa public sector ecosystem.
Requirements
Demonstrated success selling enterprise technology solutions specifically into the Government of Canada market and within the Greater Ottawa Area.
Deep, working knowledge of federal procurement frameworks, policies, and buying vehicles including PISA and other supply arrangement mechanisms used by departments.
Proven experience engaging with key federal organizations such as the Department of National Defence (DND), Shared Services Canada (SSC), and other major departments or agencies.
Established relationships within the Ottawa public sector partner ecosystem, including system integrators, strategic resellers, and consulting firms that support federal technology programs.
Experience operating in controlled or secure government environments, with existing Government of Canada security clearance eligibility or an active clearance regarded as a strong asset for accessing sensitive decision-makers.
A demonstrated history of building authentic relationships with public sector customers, showing genuine interest in their mission, operational challenges, and long-term priorities.
Possession of a Challenger mindset, capable of using customer insight and technical understanding to reframe problems and position EverPure's solutions as essential enablers of digital transformation.
An avid hunter mentality supported by proven prospecting skills, disciplined pipeline management, and the ability to navigate seamlessly between the boardroom and operational team environments.
