You will navigate multi stakeholder environments, aligning technical teams and executive sponsors to deliver durable value. What you'll do
- Drive end to end ownership of the SLED sales cycle, from initial engagement through contract execution, to secure new logos and expand existing accounts against defined revenue targets.
- Position the Everpure Platform and its all flash technology as the optimal choice for public sector buyers, simplifying complex technical concepts into clear value propositions for elected officials and procurement teams.
- Lead cross functional pursuit teams, aligning product, technical, and channel partners to build tailored account strategies that address specific customer challenges.
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with influencers and decision makers, from data center staff to board level executives, reinforcing Everpure as a trusted advisor.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline management using CRM tools, forecasting accurately, and ensuring consistent progress against territory objectives.
- Orchestrate solution design and proof of concept activities that demonstrate how Everpure's innovations solve persistent public sector data storage and security problems.
- Represent Everpure in competitive scenarios, differentiating our offering against incumbent and emerging storage solutions in the SLED market.
- Collaborate with customer success and implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high satisfaction, driving referenceable outcomes and long term retention.
- Contribute to the creation of sales playbooks, battle cards, and enablement materials specific to the needs of state, local, and education buyers.
- Track and report on market intelligence, highlighting shifts in procurement policy, budget cycles, and technology trends that affect SLED buying behavior.
- Partner with marketing to develop targeted content that speaks directly to the priorities of public sector stakeholders.
- Achieve and exceed assigned quotas by balancing new acquisition with strategic expansion within existing customer organizations.
Requirements
- Proven experience selling into the SLED market, with demonstrated success managing RFIs, RFPs, and formal contract negotiations.
- Experience working with Federal system integrators and understanding of how large integrators influence public sector purchasing decisions.
- Mastery of a challenger sales mindset, using insight led conversations and a hunter's instinct to uncover needs and build momentum.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating sophisticated technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi stakeholder sales cycles while maintaining clarity and focus on the underlying business outcomes.
- Comfort using CRM platforms to track opportunities, forecast revenue, and ensure disciplined execution against territory plans.
- A track record of building and sustaining long term customer relationships that result in high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Strong judgment in prioritizing activities and managing a portfolio of accounts to maximize territory potential.
Nice to have
- Previous work with public sector technology vendors or solution providers, giving familiarity with the constraints and priorities of government IT.
- Experience with cloud transformation or hybrid storage initiatives in education or state government environments.
- Understanding of procurement frameworks such as GSA schedules or state cooperative purchasing programs.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance considerations relevant to public sector organizations.
