About the role
The is entrusted with the conception and meticulous development of products that embody the brand's core philosophy of clean luxury and conscious practice. This role owns the end-to-end process for shirting, knitwear, casual and tailored bottoms, as well as technical and tailored outerwear for the Los Angeles community. You are responsible for transforming initial research and inspirational imagery into cohesive seasonal collections that reflect purity and simplicity. A significant portion of the role involves translating hand sketches into precise digital compositions and creating detailed technical packages with unwavering attention to construction. Collaboration with Raw Materials, Tech, and Production teams is central to optimizing development timelines and ensuring material integrity. You will work closely with Merchandising partners to build seasonal knowledge of successful, ownable designs and apply these insights to future projects. The position requires preparing clear, compelling presentations for milestone meetings to articulate design intent and progress. Ultimately, this role drives the product vision forward, ensuring that every piece meets the brand's standards of excellence in fabric, fit, drape, and construction.

What you'll do
- Execute the full design process for men's essentials, including shirting, knitwear, casual and tailored bottoms, and technical outerwear.
- Conduct in-depth research and gather inspirational imagery to inform initial design concepts and creative direction.
- Collaborate with the broader design team to ensure seasonal collections are cohesive and aligned with brand ethos.
- Translate conceptual hand sketches into refined digital compositions using industry-standard software.
- Author detailed technical packages that specify construction details, materials, and fit requirements with meticulous precision.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with Raw Materials, Tech, and Production teams to resolve development challenges and optimize workflows.
- Leverage proficiency in AI, CLO, and ProCreate to accelerate iteration and strengthen visual storytelling throughout the design phase.
- Partner with Merchandising to analyze successful product performance and extract insights for future, ownable design strategies.
- Prepare clear and concise presentations for milestone meetings to communicate design progress and rationale.
- Support the Director of Design in advancing menswear product initiatives and meeting strategic objectives.
- Maintain a thorough editing process to refine essentials, ensuring excellence in fabric selection, fit, drape, and construction.
- Contribute to the development of a first-class design system that promotes efficiency, clarity, and innovation.
- Uphold the brand's commitment to ethical production by adhering to material and process standards.
- Demonstrate adaptability by shifting focus between conceptual creativity and technical documentation as project needs evolve.
- Ensure all design deliverables meet deadlines and quality benchmarks required for seasonal planning and launch schedules.
Requirements
- Bring a background of 3-5 years in a similar design position focused on menswear product development.
- Possess technical knowledge of premium menswear construction and understand material behavior across different seasons.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or a closely related design field.
- Demonstrate great taste, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a commitment to collaborative solutions for people and planet.
- Show proficiency in AI, CLO, and ProCreate as a valuable asset to the role.
- Maintain a strong ability to translate concepts from sketch to digital format with precision and clarity.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail when authoring technical packages and specifications.

Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in our Los Angeles office in the Art District neighborhood. The schedule is hybrid, requiring three days in the office weekly, specifically Tuesdays through Thursdays. Product teams may flex to five days in the office during peak seasons.
