About the role
In the position of Staff Software Engineer at Euclid, you will be instrumental in developing the next generation of workflow tools and AI functionalities that empower our clients to initiate renewable energy projects in a matter of months rather than years. You will work closely with a diverse team of renewable energy specialists and end users, which include both small-scale and large-scale developers as well as financial institutions. Your focus will be on transforming complex workflows into seamless and user-friendly experiences.

What you'll do
- Design and implement innovative workflow tools and AI-driven features that enhance user experience for renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Lead the development of scalable and maintainable web services that meet the needs of our users.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive the architecture of complex systems, ensuring they are robust and efficient.
- Engage with end users to gather feedback and iterate on product features, ensuring they meet real-world needs.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on user impact.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our product offerings.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in developing web-based applications.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and overseeing large-scale projects.
- Strong background in architecting scalable web services that are clean and maintainable.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding engineers through both formal and informal avenues.
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships across various teams and influence organizational outcomes.
- Proficiency in full-stack development with modern programming languages and frameworks; familiarity with React, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Rails is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, particularly in the context of document intelligence and workflow automation.
- Background in renewable energy or related fields, providing insight into industry-specific challenges and solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices, contributing to a dynamic team environment.
