Public Sector Partnerships Lead

About the role

You will lead the strategy and execution of public sector partnerships for ElevenLabs across Colombia, defining how the organization engages with government institutions and influences the regional policy landscape. You will own the end-to-end relationship with key public stakeholders, ensuring that ElevenLabs' voice is central in policy discussions around AI governance, safety, and digital regulation. You will translate complex regulatory trends into actionable plans that enable government adoption of our AI audio platforms while protecting the company's interests and values. This role requires you to act as both a trusted advisor to public officials and a fierce advocate for ElevenLabs' priorities within the government ecosystem. You will leverage data and market insights to shape policy campaigns that create durable impact and open new opportunities for our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align policy objectives with commercial and product goals, ensuring that advocacy efforts directly support business growth. Ultimately, you will build a resilient public sector presence that strengthens our reputation and positions ElevenLabs as a leader in responsible AI deployment in Colombia.

What you'll do

Develop and execute a comprehensive public sector engagement plan for Colombia, focusing on AI policy, regulation, and government adoption of ElevenLabs products and services.

Establish and nurture high-level relationships with policymakers, regulators, public institution leaders, and industry associations to position ElevenLabs as a trusted partner in the public sector.

Monitor, analyze, and interpret emerging regulations and policy initiatives related to AI, data protection, privacy, competition, digital rights, copyright, safety, and transparency in Colombia.

Represent ElevenLabs at government meetings, public hearings, conferences, and industry events, articulating our policy positions and advancing strategic public policy objectives.

Provide strategic counsel to company leadership and cross-functional teams on regional policy trends, regulatory risks, and their implications for business growth and product development.

Collaborate with Legal, Safety, Security, and other internal teams to develop, refine, and support internal policies that align with public sector requirements and best practices.

Design and implement targeted policy campaigns and impact initiatives that promote responsible AI frameworks and drive government adoption of ElevenLabs solutions.

Act as a primary liaison between the government ecosystem and the company's go-to-market teams, ensuring alignment between policy advocacy and commercial objectives.

Track and report on policy developments, regulatory changes, and stakeholder positions to inform strategic decisions and mitigate potential risks.

Champion an AI-first mindset within public sector interactions, demonstrating how emerging technologies can deliver public value while maintaining safety, accountability, and transparency.

Build long-term influence within the public sector by contributing to industry discussions, shaping discourse on AI governance, and supporting the creation of balanced regulatory environments.

Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to refine engagement strategies, improve stakeholder communication, and maximize the impact of policy efforts.
