About the role
ElevenLabs is in search of a Global Compliance Manager who will be instrumental in establishing and enhancing our internal compliance framework. This role involves collaborating closely with the Legal Department and various business units to weave ethical practices, trade regulations, and compliance standards into the fabric of our daily operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization adheres to all necessary legal and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do
- Develop and manage a comprehensive global compliance program that includes creating policies and conducting risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
- Oversee the management of conflict of interest disclosures, ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct and addressing ethics-related inquiries effectively.
- Execute trade compliance responsibilities, which include conducting restricted-party screenings and managing export control processes to ensure compliance with international regulations.
- Perform risk-based due diligence on third-party partners, agents, and consultants to mitigate potential compliance risks.
- Lead the compliance intake processes and conduct internal investigations as necessary to address compliance violations or concerns.
- Design and implement compliance training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees about compliance policies and ethical standards.
- Track compliance metrics and generate regular reports for senior leadership to keep them informed of compliance status and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and compliance best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant with evolving standards.
- Provide guidance and support to various departments on compliance-related issues, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
- Act as a point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits, ensuring that the organization is prepared for external assessments.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in compliance, legal operations, risk management, or investigations is essential.
- A strong track record of supporting compliance initiatives in a global context, demonstrating an understanding of international compliance challenges.
- Familiarity with anti-corruption laws, export control regulations, sanctions, and corporate compliance principles is crucial.
- Proven ability to draft clear and effective policies, procedures, and training materials that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Excellent project management skills, with a focus on operational execution and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Familiarity with key regulations such as the UK Bribery Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), OFAC sanctions, and export control laws.

- Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), International Compliance Association (ICA), or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), are advantageous.
