The Solution Architect (Pre-sales) owns the technical narrative for Spanish deals. They are responsible for converting ambiguous customer challenges into coherent, scalable Elastic solutions. The work location is Barcelona, Spain. The engagement model involves enterprise pre-sales activities conducted in partnership with Inside Sales teams. Compensation for this role consists of a Base Salary plus a Variable component, with a maximum total earning potential of €119,300 EUR.

What you'll do

• Architect end-to-end customer journeys, mapping detailed data flows for search and observability use cases.
• Design secure and resilient deployment patterns that align with established cloud provider guardrails and operational best practices.
• Champion solution validation through conducting workshops and delivering live product demonstrations for technical and business stakeholders.
• Guide deployment planning processes, addressing configuration, scaling, and resilience requirements for hybrid environments.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to prototype specific integrations that highlight platform observability and security strengths.
• Shape technical narratives that clarify the tradeoffs between performance, cost, and long-term maintainability.
• Orchestrate discovery sessions to extract complex requirements and translate them into specific Elastic capabilities and value propositions.
• Document comprehensive reference designs to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency across the customer portfolio.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured technical proposals that leverage the full breadth of the Elastic Stack.
• Act as a primary technical consultant during the presales phase, influencing decision-making through expertise and insight.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and data indexing mechanics within search platforms.
