Brand and Content Strategist
Job description
About the role
Dust is looking for a senior Brand and Content Strategist to define how our story comes to life across markets, channels, and formats. You will own Dust's global brand and content strategy, deciding which stories we tell, who they are for, where they should appear, and how they advance the business. This role blends editorial judgment with strategic planning as you turn company priorities, product innovation, and customer outcomes into narratives and programs that earn sustained attention. You will create flagship content yourself while coordinating contractors, agencies, and partners to amplify reach and expertise. You will shape how a category-defining AI company shows up across the US and Europe while the market and the conventions for communicating within it are still being formed. This is a strategy-led role that owns the work from strategy through execution across the channels where Dust tells its story.
Key facts
What you'll do
Define Dust's global brand and content strategy by owning the content program across social, video, customer, community, and editorial channels, carrying work from strategic direction through execution.
Decide which stories Dust should tell, who they are for, and where they should show up in the evolving AI Operator landscape.
Translate Dust's company narrative and positioning into a distinctive content strategy for the US and Europe that reflects product innovation and customer outcomes.
Build a content roadmap aligned with company priorities, audience needs, market opportunities, and gaps across the funnel to guide production and distribution.
Establish the voice, editorial standards, and creative principles that make Dust's content recognizable, trusted, and distinct in a crowded market.
Turn product launches, customer outcomes, company milestones, and market shifts into compelling stories that earn attention and deepen understanding among operators and buyers.
Build a flagship, multi-format customer storytelling program that showcases real workflows and results while reinforcing trust and differentiation.
Champion the AI Operators rewiring how work gets done inside their companies and position Dust as the infrastructure for that transformation.
Tell the story of how Dust runs on Dust by shaping programs with customers and ecosystem partners that demonstrate platform reliability and impact.
Scale storytelling through others by building playbooks, briefs, workflows, and a creative network to produce and distribute high-quality content consistently.
Build content operations on Dust and set the standard for an AI-powered content function that leverages tools for efficiency and insight.
Define success across awareness, audience growth, engagement, influence, and qualified demand through clear metrics and feedback loops.
Build measurement systems to understand which stories, formats, and channels are working, and use data to continually refine strategy and execution.
Partner with product marketing, growth, comms, community, and field marketing on launches and integrated programs to ensure alignment and maximum impact.
Requirements
Have 5-7+ years of content or brand strategy experience at a fast-growing B2B software company, with a track record of owning strategy end to end.

Have a strong grasp of modern distribution, including social-first content, LinkedIn dynamics, video formats, community engagement, and creator-style playbooks in an enterprise context.
Be a stellar storyteller across a wide range of formats and topics, able to make complex technology clear, credible, and compelling for operator and executive audiences.
Connect content to business results, using both qualitative and quantitative signals to decide what to make next and when to double down.
Scale storytelling through systems, playbooks, and delegation, ensuring consistency without sacrificing speed or creativity.
Thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and ambiguity is common, and where data and user feedback inform decisions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including product, sales, customer success, and community, to align messaging and uncover new opportunities.
Nice to have
Experience working with AI-native platforms and understanding how emerging tools reshape workflows and organizational behavior.
Background in building programs that engage both enterprise buyers and technical practitioners.
