About the role
Become a vital member of the Dust team as a Business Development Representative, where you will be instrumental in driving our ambitious growth strategy. This role focuses on leveraging our AI-driven platform to enhance sales development processes, allowing you to redefine how we approach prospecting and lead qualification. You will have the chance to contribute to the creation of a new market category while advancing your career within our Go-to-Market (GTM) organization.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Identify and generate qualified sales opportunities by proactively reaching out to scale-up and enterprise-level companies.
- Initiate and conduct discovery calls with technical leaders, founders, and key decision-makers to understand their needs.
- Assess potential leads by evaluating their requirements and aligning them with Dust's innovative solutions.
- Cultivate relationships with prospects until they are ready to engage with sales, providing Account Executives with comprehensive context.
- Ensure seamless transitions that yield high-quality sales-qualified leads, complete with clear next steps for follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Go-to-Market team to track and manage your sales pipeline effectively.
- Work closely with Marketing and GTM Engineers to experiment with and enhance outbound campaigns.
- Define ideal customer profiles and devise strategies to penetrate key accounts effectively.
- Utilize data analytics to refine your sales approach and continuously enhance conversion rates.
- Regularly use Dust agents for tasks such as prospecting, lead qualification, account research, and managing workflows.
- Innovate your personal processes using Dust and share valuable insights with your team to foster collective improvement.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technology sales, or a strong desire to transition into tech sales with relevant transferable skills.
- Exceptional English communication abilities for engaging effectively with technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in capturing attention and customizing messages to suit a variety of audiences.
- High level of coachability, demonstrating the ability to absorb feedback quickly and implement improvements.
- A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment and is eager to share knowledge.
