What you'll do

• Lead technical investigations into complex software issues, providing insights and solutions that enhance product performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and customer support, to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.
• Design and implement robust software solutions that address customer needs while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their growth and development within the engineering team.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code is maintained throughout the development process.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to software design, architecture, and troubleshooting processes.
• Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance system efficiency.
• Drive initiatives for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) to streamline software release processes.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their technical challenges, translating this information into actionable development tasks.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, with a solid understanding of software development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure, and familiarity with their respective services.
• Strong knowledge of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience in data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA or Trello, to manage project workflows.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, to enhance software delivery processes.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing SaaS applications and understanding the challenges associated with multi-tenant architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
