Druva is hiring a Senior Sales Development Representative to join their team based in London. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying potential customers for Druva's cloud data protection platform. The Senior Sales Development Representative will work closely with the sales organization to generate new business opportunities and support the company's growth in the United Kingdom market. What you'll do
Identify and research prospective companies that match Druva's ideal customer profile for cloud data protection
Conduct outbound outreach through email and phone to engage decision makers at target accounts
Qualify leads by understanding prospect needs and determining fit for Druva's cloud backup solutions
Collaborate with account executives to develop tailored outreach strategies for each qualified opportunity
Maintain and update the customer relationship management system with all prospect interactions and notes
Attend industry events and conferences to expand the pipeline of potential new customers
Track and report on key metrics including outreach volume, response rates, and meeting bookings
Partner with marketing teams to refine messaging and targeting for specific industry verticals
Support the development of sales collateral and talking points for the broader sales team
Build relationships with prospects to move them through the early stages of the sales funnel
Coordinate with marketing operations to ensure lead routing and segmentation processes are functioning effectively
Research accounts to uncover buying signals and recommend next steps for the sales team
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform outreach strategies and prioritize high potential accounts
Requirements
Proven track record in sales development or business development with at least three years of experience in a B2B setting
Strong understanding of cloud computing and SaaS products in a business to business environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders and technical buyers
Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of outbound activities each week
Experience using customer relationship management tools to track, prioritize, and nurture incoming and outgoing leads
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as business or communications
Comfort with cold outreach and resilience in the face of rejection while maintaining a positive attitude
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple prospect accounts simultaneously
Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or SPIN selling is a valued advantage
Nice to have
Prior experience selling data protection, backup, or disaster recovery solutions to enterprise customers in the UK
Familiarity with the United Kingdom enterprise technology landscape and key industry players in the sector
Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and lead scoring methodologies for pipeline generation and qualification
Background in a fast growing startup environment with a bias for action and results
Experience working with channel partners or reseller networks to drive new customer acquisition
Skills & tools
Customer relationship management software such as Salesforce or HubSpot for pipeline management and tracking
Email outreach platforms like Outreach or Salesloft for structured cadence execution and follow up
LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospect research, filtering, and targeted engagement with potential customers
Microsoft Office suite including Excel for pipeline tracking, reporting, and data analysis tasks
Data enrichment tools such as ZoomInfo or Apollo for building accurate and complete prospect lists
Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and data protection concepts to speak credibly with prospects
Familiarity with sales intelligence platforms and intent data tools to prioritize high value accounts

This role is based in Druva's London office and requires on site presence during standard business hours
The hiring process includes multiple interview rounds with the sales leadership team and a final presentation
