What you'll do
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive deal desk strategy that aligns with Druva's overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and prioritize key deals, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently for maximum impact.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and improve sales performance.
- Establish and maintain a repository of best practices and templates to streamline the deal process across the organization.
- Facilitate training sessions for sales teams on deal desk processes, tools, and best practices to enhance their effectiveness.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all deal structures.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to inform Druva's deal desk approach and maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and manage KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the deal desk operations and report findings to senior management.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the sales organization to enhance deal velocity and close rates.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to sales teams, providing guidance on complex deal negotiations and strategic pricing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, deal desk management, or a similar role within the technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex sales processes and driving revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and best practices.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (such as Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
