What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the selection of candidates.
• Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture and operations.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of each role.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Assist in the development and execution of HR policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment and support employee engagement.
• Conduct regular employee performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement plans as needed.
• Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and promote professional development.
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues, providing timely and accurate information.
• Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
• Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance workforce productivity and satisfaction.
• Participate in employee relations activities, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and effective manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in human resources to ensure that Digitain Software remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a similar role, preferably within the tech or software industry.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations in Romania.
• Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in HR software and tools, with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.

Nice to have

• Experience with employee engagement initiatives and performance management systems.
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting tools.
• Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment or with international teams.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management systems.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and performance management software.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting HR metrics and data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Romanian.

Practical notes

• This position is based in Bucharest, and candidates must be eligible to work in Romania.
• The role may require occasional travel for recruitment events or training sessions.
